At the end of November, a select few attended the London Law Conference, Europe’s largest student-run conference that is jam-packed with 300 carefully selected delegates. The LLC was a day filled with a variety of senior keynote speakers including: Dan Sarooshi QC (Barrister at Essex Court Chambers), Claire Wills (Managing Partner at Freshfields), Gideon Moore (Managing Partner at Linklaters), David Patient (Managing Partner at Travers Smith) and Angela Clist (Partner and Head of the Legal Services Center at Allen & Overy).
We listened to key players from the legal sphere where they discussed the latest trends in the industry ranging from emerging legal tech to start-ups. The University of Sussex Law Society (USLS) proudly sponsored the Conference and therefore subsidised the price of tickets of delegates so they could go for free. If you are interested in going to events like these, join the USLS and follow them on social media (@sussexunilawsoc) to get the latest updates about opportunities.
